Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Salesperson to join our team in Jeddah. The successful candidate will engage with customers, understand their needs, present suitable products or services, achieve sales targets, and provide professional support throughout the sales process. This role requires strong communication skills, product knowledge, customer service ability, sales awareness, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail or commercial environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Customer Engagement: Welcome customers, identify their needs, answer questions, and provide a professional and positive sales experience.

• Product Presentation: Explain product or service features, benefits, prices, promotions, warranties, and available options clearly and accurately.

• Sales Generation: Recommend suitable products or services, identify selling opportunities, and convert customer inquiries into successful sales.

• Sales Target Achievement: Meet or exceed assigned individual and team sales targets, revenue goals, conversion rates, and customer service performance standards.

• Customer Needs Analysis: Ask relevant questions, understand customer preferences and budgets, and provide solutions that match their requirements.

• Upselling and Cross-Selling: Recommend complementary products, upgrades, accessories, services, or promotional offers when appropriate and beneficial to the customer.

• Sales Transactions: Process orders, invoices, payments, discounts, returns, exchanges, and other sales-related transactions accurately through approved systems.

• Customer Follow-Up: Follow up with prospective and existing customers, respond to inquiries, provide requested information, and support customer retention.

• Customer Service: Resolve customer questions and concerns professionally, manage expectations, and escalate complex issues to the Supervisor or relevant department when required.

• Product Availability: Check stock levels, confirm product availability, communicate expected delivery times, and coordinate with inventory or operations teams when necessary.

• Merchandising and Presentation: Maintain organized product displays, accurate price labels, promotional materials, and a clean and attractive sales area.

• Market and Product Knowledge: Maintain current knowledge of products, services, competitors, promotions, pricing, and relevant market trends.

• Customer Records: Maintain accurate customer information, sales activities, orders, follow-up notes, and transaction details in approved systems.

• Reporting: Provide accurate reports on sales performance, customer feedback, product demand, stock concerns, and recurring customer inquiries.

• Team Collaboration: Work closely with Sales, Customer Service, Inventory, Finance, Marketing, Operations, and other relevant teams to support business goals.

• Policy Compliance: Follow company sales procedures, pricing and discount policies, payment controls, customer privacy requirements, safety standards, and applicable local regulations.

• Sales Area Standards: Support daily opening and closing procedures, product replenishment, inventory checks, and the overall readiness of the sales location.

Skills and Qualifications

• Experience: Previous experience in sales, retail, customer service, business development, account support, or a related field is preferred.

• Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required. A diploma or bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, sales, or a related discipline is preferred.

• Sales Skills: Understanding of sales techniques, customer needs analysis, product recommendations, objection handling, upselling, cross-selling, and closing sales.

• Customer Service: Strong customer service skills with a professional, friendly, patient, and solution-oriented approach.

• Communication: Strong verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain products, prices, promotions, terms, and recommendations clearly.

• Negotiation and Persuasion: Ability to influence purchasing decisions ethically, respond to objections, and present value effectively.

• Product Knowledge: Ability to learn and communicate product features, benefits, specifications, pricing, and competitive advantages.

• Technology Skills: Basic proficiency with point-of-sale systems, customer relationship management systems, email, Microsoft Office, and sales or inventory applications.

• Numerical Accuracy: Ability to process prices, discounts, payments, invoices, sales totals, and transaction information accurately.

• Organization: Ability to manage customer inquiries, sales activities, follow-ups, targets, and competing priorities effectively.

• Teamwork: Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and contribute to a positive and performance-focused work environment.

• Performance Orientation: Ability to meet sales, productivity, service quality, attendance, and customer satisfaction targets.

• Language Skills: Proficiency in English is required. Knowledge of Arabic is preferred to support communication with customers in Jeddah.

• Work Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible shifts, weekends, holidays, and high-traffic periods based on business requirements.
