Machining Shop -Skilled Worker - Deep Hole machine -

Perform high grade machining operating according to the manufacturing documents(drawing, work instructions, 

specification and CNC Program) 

A skilled worker is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machine tools to manufacture 

products from casting & forging materials. This role involves interpreting technical drawings and blueprints, 

ensuring the accuracy of machine operations, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety. 

•Operating CNC machines to perform tasks various machining tasks. 

•Understand specifications of the task at hand and the desired result by reading drawing and related 

manufacturing drawings etc. 

•Prepare and load workpiece and setup onto the machine tools. 

•Prepare a test run to check if the machines produce outputs according to specifications. 

•Set machines to complete full cycles to fabricate large number of parts. 

•Supervise the machines while they execute the tasks and make any necessary adjustments to produce a 

better result. 

•Inspect and measure finished products and compare them with requirements to determine if the process 

has been completed properly. 

•Check and maintain machinery daily to ensure functionality

High school diploma or higher 

CNC machine tools operators for Deep hole machine. 

Must have special knowledge of deep hole machining. 

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in operation of machine tools. 

Operating with one of the CNC controllers (FANUC, SIEMENS and etc.) but not essential 

Operating experience of heavy-duty machine tools 

Be able to install various heads and using them skillfully. 

Understand / review machining manufacturing drawings & technical specifications. 

General machine tools and machining technical understanding, knowledge of tooling and measuring 

instruments. 

Interpret CNC programs as required on the job. Creating & editing manual programs. (Manual Data Input G&M 

codes) 

Skill in operating CNC machinery and tooling as well as precision measuring instruments. 

Use measuring tools and gauges to ensure quality of products that required general and precision tolerances. 

Capable of working own initiative. 

 Perform self-prevention and regular consumable change work on Deep hole machine tools.  

Train new employees on how to properly operate Deep hole machine tools. 

Previous experience with similar oil & gas field parts if preferred, but not essential
