Document Controller (Saudi Arabia)

Eram Talent is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Document Controller to join our team in Saudi Arabia. The Document Controller will be responsible for managing, distributing, and organizing project documents to ensure compliance with company policies and project requirements. This role plays a vital part in the smooth functioning of projects by maintaining accurate documentation and facilitating timely access to information.

The ideal candidate will have experience in large-scale projects, strong communication skills, and proficiency in document management systems like Aconex and SharePoint. Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain document control processes and procedures.
• Develop and manage the Document Management System (DMS).
• Control the flow of documents (electronic and hard copy), including distribution and archiving.
• Ensure all documents comply with company standards (numbering, formatting, review, and approval).
• Process incoming and outgoing documents, including registration, tracking, and transmission.
• Monitor document review and approval timelines to meet project schedules.
• Maintain and update the Master Document Register in coordination with project teams.
• Verify that all drawings and technical documents are properly identified, filed, and stored.
• Perform document control activities such as scanning, copying, and quality checks of supplier documents.
• Provide administrative support, including preparing presentations and managing departmental documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field (Engineering, Business Administration, or related disciplines).
• Minimum of 3 years experience as a Document Controller,
• Proficiency with document management software such as Aconex, SharePoint, or similar platforms.
• Strong knowledge of document control procedures, standards, and best practices.
• Preferably experienced in petrochemical, oil & gas, or industrial sectors.
• Strong knowledge of Document Management Systems (DMS) and related software.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines..
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills-ability to work effectively with diverse project teams.
