Finance Lead of Maersk Logistic Park (MLP) - (MCL)

Direct work and partnering with MLP sites' operations, commercial, finance and business controlling, to ensure the organizational financial health by guiding financial strategy planning, maintaining accurate reporting, and supporting business decisions with data driven insights with solid involvement on costing / pricing models, controls design/implementation, compliance and tax related topics. Through creating environmental value to the leaders by leveraging deep dive analysis, insights and influencing decision making through strong collaborations and recommendations.

1. Financial Strategy & Planning
   • Monitoring MLP site’s budget and forecast.
   • Identifying growth opportunities and cost‑saving areas and initiatives.
   • Provide financial insights (highlights and lowlights) to support stakeholders in decision‑making.
2. Financial Analysis & Reporting
   • Analyze financial sites’ performance (revenue, costs, profitability) and tracking sites KPIs.
   • Managing MLP profitability at product‑level, customer‑level, and actual results Vs. approved Business Case and Vs the Budget.
   • Controlling CAPEX spend Vs. approved Business Case, ensuring capitalization is compliant with accounting standards.
   • Developing asset inventory and monitoring assets register postings in the system and managing the periodic assets physical count.
   • Controlling MLP sites‑related SG&A cost, deep‑dive analysis on actual performance Vs. forecast, identifying trends and plans to optimize costs.
   • Coordinating the financial activities for the sites (payments, process setup, reconciliations, customer on‑boarding, etc).
   • Supporting in Working Capital and funding requirements.
   • Overseeing the day‑to‑day financial transactions with accuracy and in compliance with accounting principles and standards and working closely with finance operations and business controlling teams.
   • Supporting the deliverables of the Accounting Manager and Finance Business Partners by providing insightful MLP‑related business analysis and commentary on a timely basis.
3. Driving MLP sites performance management for MCL management together with the key stakeholders.
4. Provide transparency and insights to the sites/products P&L.
5. MLP sites financial data insights, target setting, business planning and forecasting.
6. Sites performance management and Improvements.
