Assistant Finance & Business Support Manager

A little taste of your day-to-day:

Every day is different at IHG, but you’ll mostly be:

• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Monitor expenses and analyze variances against budgets.
• Ensure accurate accounting records and timely reconciliations.
• Support internal and external audit processes.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.
• Prepare financial analyses and management reports
• Monitor business performance through KPIs and recommend improvements.
• Assist in developing and implementing financial controls and operational procedures.
• Coordinate with other departments to support business objectives.
• Support procurement, contract administration, and vendor management when required.
• Maintain accurate financial documentation and records.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
• Assist in risk management and business continuity initiatives.
• Support special projects and process improvement initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a similar capacity within the hospitality industry.
• A solid technical accounting knowledge, strong business partnering skills, and leadership capabilities.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting and budgeting.
