System Administrator

Description

Al Moallam Company (CJSC) is looking for a full-time experienced System Administrator who is locally available. Candidates should have the following:

The ICT System Administrator is responsible for managing, maintaining, and supporting the organization’s IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, systems, security, cloud services, backups, and user support. The role ensures the stability, security, and efficient operation of all ICT systems and services.

Key Responsibilities
System Administration

• Install, configure, and maintain Windows servers.
• Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and file services.
• Monitor system performance and ensure high availability of IT services.
• Perform regular system updates, patches, and upgrades.
Network Administration
• Support and maintain LAN/WAN infrastructure, switches, routers, firewalls, and VPNs.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
• Maintain internet and communication services.
Security Management
• Implement and monitor cybersecurity controls and policies.
• Manage antivirus, endpoint protection, firewall rules, and access controls.
• Conduct regular backups and disaster recovery testing.
• Monitor logs and respond to security incidents.
Cloud & Virtualization
• Manage Microsoft 365, Azure, or other cloud platforms.
• Maintain virtualization environments such as VMware or Hyper-V.
• Support cloud backups and hybrid infrastructure.
User Support & Helpdesk
• Provide technical support to users for hardware, software, email, and network issues.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights.
• Support printers, IP phones, and other IT equipment.
• Coordinate with vendors for ICT support and maintenance.
Documentation & Compliance
• Maintain ICT asset inventory and system documentation.
• Prepare technical reports and update standard operating procedures.
• Ensure compliance with company ICT policies and standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in system and network administration.
• Relevant certifications are preferred:
o Microsoft Certified
o Cisco CCNA/CCNP
o VMware / Cybersecurity certifications
