Production Manager, Saudi Pro League (KSA)

Responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day production logistics for multiple matches, ensuring efficiency, budget compliance, and adherence to compliance and health & safety guidelines.
• Serve as main point of contact for ad‑hoc productions, ensuring on‑time and on‑budget delivery.
• Manage programme budgets, cost reports and forecasts; prepare quarterly financial reports for the Production Executive and Production Accountant.
• Collaborate with the Production Executive and Senior Producers to create and update production schedules and staffing plans, covering all SPL departments.
• Coordinate with internal departments (legal, HR, finance, immigration) to secure visas and work permits for staffing needs.
• Develop and maintain relationships with external facility providers and suppliers, addressing issues and delays promptly.
• Disseminate production reports, identifying gaps and trends; attend and run production meetings to keep stakeholders informed.
• Advise the Production Executive/Head of Production on potential schedule or budget problems, presenting proposed solutions.
• Mentor and provide growth opportunities for production staff, delegating tasks and empowering team members.
• Lead a team of Production Coordinators and Assistants, ensuring transparent communication and departmental initiatives are conveyed.
• Establish new processes and procedures to improve production systems and workflow.
• Support day‑to‑day or shoot‑specific operational demands including risk assessment creation and adherence.
• Ensure compliance with Health and Safety procedures and maintain relevant paperwork.
• Confirm freelancers are correctly contracted under local and relevant guidelines.

Qualifications

• Proven experience dealing with broadcasters, stakeholders, and a broad range of personnel.
• Previous role in a similar production management capacity.
• Strong budgeting skills, with ability to produce and manage production budgets.
• Knowledge of rights and clearances, production workflows, insurance, and health & safety responsibilities.
• Proficiency in Excel and strong organisational, prioritisation and resilience skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience managing junior members of an administrative team.
• Understanding of UK or international TV industries.
• Ability to work independently without direct supervision.
• Client liaison skills and formally trained in Health & Safety Production.

Desirable

• Fluency in Arabic is highly advantageous, though not essential.

Working Conditions

Fixed‑term contract until 31 July 2027. Based in Riyadh office; may require travel to IMG facilities, stadiums and other locations. Unsocial hours may be demanded by the production schedule.
