Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Lecturer to join a reputable higher education institution in Saudi Arabia within the Support Studies division. The role involves delivering engaging teaching across Computer Science, Islamic Studies, and Skills-based courses, with a focus on student learning, academic support, and curriculum delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver undergraduate lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions in assigned Support Studies courses
- Prepare and update course materials, lesson plans, assessments, and grading rubrics
- Support effective delivery of Computer Science, Islamic Studies, and Skills-based curricula
- Assist in student mentoring, academic advising, and learning support
- Participate in departmental meetings and academic coordination activities
- Contribute to student assessment, examinations, and continuous evaluation processes
- Support curriculum development and course improvement initiatives
- Assist in accreditation and quality assurance activities where required
- Engage in professional development and stay updated in relevant subject areas
Requirements
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Islamic Studies, Education, or a related discipline (PhD is an advantage)
- 3-5 years of teaching or relevant academic/industry experience
- Ability or willingness to teach across interdisciplinary Support Studies courses
- Strong communication and presentation skills in English (Arabic is an advantage)
- Commitment to student-centered teaching and academic support
- Familiarity with modern teaching methods and educational technologies
- Candidates currently based in Saudi Arabia are preferred
