ELECTRICAL DRAFTSMAN

Position: Urgent hiring.
Responsibilities
- Draft and design electrical drawings, schematics, and diagrams using SolidWorks, following industry standards and project specifications.
- Create and maintain project documentation, including bill of materials, technical specifications, and installation instructions.
- Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and project managers to understand project requirements, provide technical support, and incorporate design changes.
- Coordinate with mechanical and control engineering departments to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems with overall automation design.
- Review and verify drawings for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with electrical codes and regulations.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in electrical design and automation systems to improve project execution.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
- Additional courses in design are recommended.
- Relevant certifications, registrations, and licenses may be required.
- Familiarity with project design cycle and project management tools.
- In-depth knowledge of electrical drafting principles, practices, and symbols.
- Proficient in using CAD software (SolidWorks) for creating electrical drawings.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, components, and wiring diagrams.
- Knowledge of electrical codes and regulations.
- Experience with automation systems including PLCs, HMIs, motor control, and industrial communication protocols.
- Excellent attention to detail, effective communication, analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Teamwork and collaborative mindset within an automation project environment.
Language Requirements
- English – fluent speaking and writing.
- Basic Arabic – a bonus.
