Senior Structural Engineer (Offshore)
Location: India

Originally founded in the UK in 1954 as Spencer & Partners, the company has now grown to include almost 1,000 members of staff, with major offices in London, Mexico, Colombia Houston and Abu Dhabi, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, India.
Penspen are looking for a dynamic Senior Structural Engineer for one of our Offshore PMC projects in India.
About the job:
- Provide structural engineering oversight and technical review of EPC contractor deliverables for onshore facilities.
- Review structural design calculations, general arrangement drawings, steel and concrete detailing, and foundation design packages for compliance with project specifications and applicable codes (ACI, AISC, ASCE, API).
- Ensure structural integrity, constructability, and seismic compliance of facilities.
- Participate in design reviews, model reviews, and value engineering sessions.
- Provide technical support to the project management team during procurement and construction phases, including review of material submittals and structural method statements.
- Monitor EPC contractor performance to ensure schedule adherence and quality of deliverables.
Required Experience Criteria in years:
- Twelve (12) years of experience; Six (6) years of them within the field of Civil /Structural Engineering related to structures for major Oil and Gas/Petrochemical Onshore projects.
Minimum Education Qualification Required:
Bachelor's Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
