Offset Printing Machine Operator

Location: DHAHRAN

Responsibilities

· Operates various types of printing machines including offset, letterset, and screen printers.

· Reviews client requests to understand scope and parameters of print jobs.

· Determines quantities required for print job.

· Matches colours for print job per job request.

· Aligns and configures machinery.

· Inspects random production samples to evaluate quality of printings.

· Maintains inventory of supplies needed to operate printing machines.

· Troubleshoots issues with printing machine and makes basic repairs.

· Performs routine maintenance on printing machines.

· Drafts and submits reports for daily production totals.

· Maintains a clean area around printing machinery.

· Performs other related duties as assigned.

· Excellent verbal communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.

· Ability to operate and quickly learn to operate various printing machines and related software.

· Ability to follow instructions.

· Physically able to operate printing machines.

· Able to bend or kneel frequently.

· Must be able to lift 25 up to pounds at a time.

· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

· Knowledge of digital printers and able to perform main duties using latest printing equipment.

Job Requirements:

· High school diploma or equivalent required. Or relative experience in a print shop environment.

· Vocational/technical school training preferred; on-the-job training provided.

· Previous related experience at least 3+ years preferred.
