Principal Technical Professional - Telecommunication
We’re looking for an accomplished Lead Telecommunications Engineer experienced in leading multi‑discipline engineering teams on green‑field and brown‑field oil & gas projects, from conceptual studies and FEED through detailed design to full installation.
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver telecom and security solutions for diverse oil and gas and petrochemical projects.
- Develop client technical requirements into commercial design solutions for telecommunications systems, including aeronautical navigation, CCTV, data networks, marine navaids, optical fiber, public address, general alarm, radio, and satellite communications.
- Create philosophies, specifications, block drawings, and datasheets for all systems.
- Support development of layouts, cable routing drawings, cable schedules, interconnection and termination diagrams, telecom installation drawings, scope of works, RFQs, and material requests.
- Review vendor documentation and interface between package vendors.
- Provide hands‑on project experience for offshore or onshore telecom solutions.
Qualifications
- Over 15 years of experience delivering telecom systems in the oil & gas industry.
- Deep familiarity with HCIS and Saudi Aramco standards and procedures.
- Proficiency in designing and specifying a wide range of telecom systems.
- Experience with RCDD and/or PSP certification is preferred.
- Awareness of Saudi Aramco and HCIS Standards is essential.
