Job Description:
We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer specialized exclusively in plumbing systems for residential projects. The role covers plumbing design, technical office responsibilities, site supervision, and final handover, with full ownership of all plumbing-related works from design to execution and acceptance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design residential plumbing systems including cold & hot water supply, drainage, vent, and stormwater systems.
- Prepare, review, and approve plumbing shop drawings.
- Prepare and review BOQs and technical specifications related to plumbing works.
- Review and approve plumbing material submittals and suppliers.
- Supervise on-site execution of plumbing works and ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
- Coordinate with architectural, structural, and electrical teams to resolve clashes and technical issues.
- Conduct and approve plumbing tests (pressure testing, leakage testing, flushing).
- Perform sectional, final, and handover inspections for plumbing works.
- Review and approve as-built drawings.
- Ensure full compliance with Saudi Building Code and relevant local standards.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience specifically in residential plumbing works.
- Proven experience in technical office (design & shop drawings) and site supervision.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing codes and Saudi Building Code requirements.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (Revit is a plus).
- Strong inspection, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred:
- Experience with villas, apartment buildings, or multi-unit residential developments.
- Background in real estate development or contracting companies.
