Waiter/Waitress

As a Waiter / Waitress, you play a vital role in creating memorable dining experiences for guests by delivering attentive, professional, and efficient food and beverage service. You are responsible for ensuring guest satisfaction through excellent customer service, accurate order handling, and maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hospitality. Working closely with the kitchen and service teams, you contribute to the smooth operation of the restaurant and uphold the company's commitment to exceptional guest experiences.

Location: Chedi Hegra, AlUla, Saudi Arabia

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Welcome guests warmly and professionally, ensuring a positive first impression.

  • Present menus, explain menu items, and provide recommendations when requested.

  • Accurately take food and beverage orders and communicate them to the kitchen and bar teams.

  • Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring presentation and service standards are maintained.

  • Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the dining experience and respond promptly to requests or concerns.

  • Ensure tables are properly set before service and cleared efficiently after guest use.

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, service stations, and restaurant facilities.

  • Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff and fellow team members to ensure seamless service delivery.

  • Promote menu specials, seasonal offerings, and upsell products to enhance the guest experience and support revenue goals.

  • Process guest bills accurately and handle cash, card, and other payment transactions in accordance with company procedures.

  • Follow all food safety, hygiene, sanitation, and health regulations.

  • Assist with opening and closing duties, including preparation, cleaning, and inventory checks.

  • Replenish supplies, condiments, cutlery, and other restaurant essentials as required.

  • Report guest feedback, operational issues, or maintenance concerns to supervisors promptly.

  • Maintain a professional appearance and conduct at all times in accordance with company standards.

  • Support team members during busy periods and contribute to achieving departmental service objectives.

  • Comply with all company policies, procedures, and operational standards.

  • Uphold environmental, health, and safety standards in alignment with organizational policies.

  • Adhere to the company's environmental, health, and safety procedures and guidelines.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • High school diploma or Diploma as a minimum requirement.

  • 1–3 years of experience in hospitality, food & beverage service, or customer service.

  • Fluency in English – required.

  • Professional appearance and positive attitude.

  • Excellent communication and guest service skills.

  • Ability to take orders accurately and provide attentive table service.

  • Strong knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and restaurant service standards.

  • Ability to handle guest requests and resolve concerns professionally.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering an exceptional dining experience.

  • Good organizational skills and ability to multitask efficiently.

  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

  • Punctual, reliable, and a team player.

  • Basic knowledge of POS systems and order-taking procedures is a plus.
