About the role:

We are looking for an Accounting Intern to join our Finance team and play a key role in supporting the accounting operations across different legal entities. This role offers hands‑on exposure to bookkeeping, invoicing, payments, monthly closings, payroll, audits, and tax compliance (VAT, WHT, CIT, TP), ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting in a dynamic, multi‑entity environment.

Expectations from the role:

• Support the team in preparing sales invoices, credit notes, and debit notes.
• Record and process journal entries, ensuring accurate and up-to-date accounting records per entity.
• Draft and record vendor bills in Odoo, calculate applicable WHT, and prepare payment run schedules.
• Support tax filing preparation (VAT, WHT, CIT, TP) and ensure compliance with applicable tax and zakat regulations.
• Prepare required documentation, schedules, and reconciliations to support internal and external audits.
• Maintain proper filing systems and financial documentation segregated per entity.
• Support payroll-related accounting entries and reconciliations.
• Perform additional accounting duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 0 – 1 year of accounting experience.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office applications.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Good English and Arabic proficiency (written and spoken).
