Avionics Technician (AT) MH-60R

Description: The role requires a skilled MH-60/H-60 Avionics Technician AT to perform Planned Maintenance Interval Inspections and other maintenance on MH-60 helicopters, including troubleshooting, testing, and repair of aircraft radios, radar, navigation equipment, and other rapid communication devices. Extensive knowledge in wire and connector repair is required. Location: Jubail, Saudi Arabia.

Essential Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repair of major assemblies, subassemblies, and wire and connector replacements on MH-60R aircraft and related systems.
• Conduct inspection, troubleshooting, fault detection and isolation, and corrective actions on electrical and utilities systems.
• Operate and maintain all applicable ground support equipment.
• Use and maintain all common, special, and precision tools for power plant maintenance and repair.
• Document maintenance using applicable forms, records, and reports, referencing NAMP and other publications.
• Provide on‑the‑job training for Saudi technicians, maintaining training records.

Other Responsibilities

• Support Amentum safety culture, participating in safety training, emergency response, and safety committees.
• Adhere to Amentum Quality policy and quality system documents.
• Implement operational, safety, quality, and environmental procedures and policies.

Minimum Qualifications

• 8 years current or previous experience performing complex helicopter electrical work, including installation, testing, troubleshooting, repair, overhaul, alignment, modification, calibration, and problem solving for navigation, radar, electronic countermeasure, GPS, and armament systems.
• Ability to solve complicated problems encountered in flight that cannot be duplicated on the ground.
• Understanding of flight characteristics and their effects on electronic systems.
• Proficient with test equipment such as voltmeters, signal generators, oscilloscopes, meters, sweep carts, and precision power and frequency devices.
• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematic diagrams, and technical directives.
• Work with miniaturized solid‑state circuits and devices.
• Knowledge of digital and analog computers, algebra, and trigonometry.
• Pass background check and drug test.

Clearance & Credentials

• Must obtain and maintain a DoW Secret Clearance.
• Must obtain and maintain facility credentials and authorization.
• US citizenship required for Secret Clearance.

Physical and Work Environment

• Walk, stand, climb stairs, ramps, ladders, and work stands for periods of the day.
• Lift up to 50 pounds.
• Distinguish color and judge three‑dimensional depth.
