Senior Technical & Sales Lead - Health & Nutrition

Job Description

Strategic Business Development

• Identify and develop new business opportunities within food manufacturers, cosmetics producers, personal care companies, consumer goods manufacturers, retailers, importers, exporters, distributors, and healthcare-related consumer product sectors.
• Establish SGS as the preferred partner for testing, inspection and auditing services by presenting value-added solutions that address customer quality, safety, and compliance objectives.
• Develop and execute sector-specific business growth strategies to increase market penetration, expand service adoption, and achieve sustainable revenue growth.
• Continuously monitor industry developments, emerging regulations, market trends, and customer requirements to proactively create new business opportunities and maintain a competitive market position.

Key Account Management

• Build and maintain long-term relationships with senior stakeholders including Quality Managers, Technical Managers, Regulatory Affairs Teams, Procurement Managers, Supply Chain Leaders, Manufacturing Directors, and Executive Management.
• Develop strategic account plans identifying customer priorities, upcoming projects, growth opportunities, and potential areas for service expansion.
• Conduct regular customer meetings and business reviews to evaluate service performance, identify improvement opportunities, and strengthen customer partnerships.
• Act as the primary commercial contact for assigned strategic accounts and coordinate internally to ensure seamless service delivery.

Project Coordination & Service Execution

• Work closely with SGS laboratory, inspection, operations, and audit teams to ensure successful project execution and timely delivery of services.
• Coordinate customer requests, project timelines, quotations, and operational requirements to ensure customer expectations are met.
• Monitor service quality and customer satisfaction, proactively addressing issues and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure effective communication between customers and operational teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Market Intelligence & Industry Engagement

• Monitor developments within the food, cosmetics, personal care, and consumer products sectors to identify emerging risks, opportunities, and regulatory changes.
• Represent SGS at industry exhibitions, conferences, customer forums, trade associations, and networking events.
• Share competitive intelligence and market insights with management to support business planning and service development initiatives.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 to 10 years of experience in Key Account Management, Business Development, Technical Sales, Testing, Inspection, Certification, Food Safety, Cosmetics, Consumer Products, Quality Assurance, or related industries.
• Previous experience within a TIC (Testing, Inspection & Certification)
• Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Pharmacy, Cosmetic Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Arabic Language is a plus.
• Transferable Iqama
• Must have a valid driving license.
