Client is looking for a Project Manager
Project Type : Chemicals – Biotech preferred
Location: Khobar, Saudi Arabia

Requirements/Qualification:

• Minimum 20 years of experience
• Engineering, Construction, or similar
• Experience post-graduation - 20yrs including >10yrs in PM roles on Contractor side
• Experience in Project Management – PMC Preferred – Peer company preferred
• Phases (experience) - Detail Engineering/Construction/EPCM/EPC

Responsibilities:

• Prepare for the Project Director (PD) review and approval the contract summary, written scope of work and communicate it to the project leads
• Collaborate with the PD to meet the as-sold profitability target established in the project commercial baseline
• Support the PD in the establishment and definition of the project organization, defining the project staffing requirements, coordinate staffing with supporting organization managers
• Participate in the establishment, communication, implementation and maintenance of the Project Execution Plan (PEP) and Project Procedures Manual (PPM)
• Demonstrate strong, effective and decisive project leadership and establish an execution framework to ensure the safety, quality, value, timeliness and profitability of the total project execution (engineering, procurement, fabrication, and construction/construction management (EPFC/CM), commissioning, start up, and operations as appropriate to the Fluor project scope)
• Establish and maintain effective client relations that result in active cooperation, prompt payment, and stimulate the desire to award follow-on work
• Provide support to the PD with the development of the project distributed execution plan, maximizing workshare opportunities where beneficial to the project outcome
• Establish good work environment and work relationship among Fluor project team members, lead team’s work implementation on aligned goal and path
• Participate in the accurate, comprehensive and timely project reporting, including final close-out report
• Collaborate with Project Controls in the establishment , maintenance and management of a fully documented change management system that tracks all changes to the contract and project baseline requirements or conditions
• Support the establishment of an efficient and cost-effective project environment
• Participate in the management and control of the project’s cost and schedule by ensuring that effective project controls are in place and functioning properly, including the establishment of a project structure (work breakdown structure/network/network activity), a quantitative approach to planning, reporting, and control, and a change management system
