Job Title: Safety Officer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified and proactive Safety Officer to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations at the workplace. The ideal candidate should hold a Diploma and certifications such as NEBOSH, IGC, IOSH, and OSHA , with relevant experience in enforcing safety protocols and conducting risk assessments on industrial or construction sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor daily site activities to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  

• Conduct safety inductions, toolbox talks, and training sessions for workers.
  

• Perform risk assessments and recommend corrective actions to mitigate hazards.
  

• Investigate incidents and near-misses, prepare reports, and implement preventive measures.
  

• Ensure the use of PPE and enforce adherence to safety policies.
  

• Maintain safety documentation, inspection checklists, and compliance records.
  

• Coordinate with project managers and supervisors to promote a safety-first culture.
  

Qualifications & Certifications Required:

• Diploma in Engineering or a related field.
  

• NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) – Mandatory
  

• IOSH – Managing Safely – Preferred
  

• OSHA 30-Hour Safety Training – Preferred
  

• Good understanding of HSE regulations and emergency procedures.
  

• Strong observation, reporting, and communication skills.
