Role Job Description:

The Emerging Technology Lab is PwC Middle Easts innovation space where we explore design and prototype with the latest technologies such as Generative AI immersive experiences and robotics. The Lab enables clients and partners to see the future of technology in action through demos showcases and co-creation workshops.

As a Graphic Motion and UI Designer in the Lab you will focus on creating high-quality visuals motion graphics and user interfaces that define how our prototypes and concepts are experienced. Your work will shape the visual identity of the Lab from polished digital assets and immersive interfaces to engaging presentations ensuring every design delivers clarity creativity and impact.

Design:

• Design and deliver high-quality graphics illustrations presentations and visual assets to support prototypes demos and immersive experiences.

• Create intuitive user-centered interface designs for web mobile and immersive environments (AR VR mixed reality).

• Develop motion graphics animations and interactive visuals that bring emerging technology concepts to life.

• Translate complex ideas into clear engaging visual narratives and user experiences that resonate with both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Rapidly prototype and iterate on UI and motion concepts providing multiple design options to support ideation and testing.

• Maintain and evolve the labs visual identity and design language across presentations demos and client-facing platforms.

• Experiment with new design trends tools AI and creative techniques to keep prototypes and designs fresh unique and cutting-edge.

• Design visually compelling presentations for leadership clients and lab tours that showcase emerging technology concepts.

Collaboration & Delivery:

• Collaborate with technologists product designers and researchers to deliver cohesive and impactful prototypes.

• Organize and manage design assets for easy reusability ensuring consistency and efficiency across projects.

• Balance speed with quality meeting sprint and project deadlines while maintaining a high standard of creativity and craft.

Lab Support & Engagement:

• Support the upkeep and organization of the Riyadh Lab ensuring it is always ready for client visits and demos.

• Collaborate with colleagues to manage lab tours workshops and external events.

• Help set up and deliver client demonstrations presentations and showcases.

• Coordinate with internal teams to promote the labs offerings both internally and externally.

• Engage with stakeholders and partners to enhance the labs network visibility and influence.

Required Skills:

A) T echnical Skills:

• Proficiency in design and creative tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop Illustrator After Effects Premiere Pro) Figma and similar UI/UX tools.

• Solid experience in motion graphics and animation design with a strong eye for timing transitions and storytelling.

• Expertise in PowerPoint design creating visually compelling and professional presentations.

• Experience in using mature AI tools in design work e.g use of tools such AI image/video generators like M idjoun ey /Kling

• Ability to design user interfaces for web mobile and immersive platforms (AR VR XR) is a plus.

• Familiarity with 3D and immersive design tools (Blender Cinema4D Unity Unreal or similar) is a plus.

• Ability to experiment with and apply AI-assisted design tools to accelerate workflows and enhance creativity.

B)Creative Skills:

• Strong visual storytelling ability capable of turning abstract or technical concepts into engaging intuitive designs.

• Excellent sense of layout typography color and composition.

• Ability to prototype rapidly and adapt visuals across multiple formats (presentations digital assets immersive demos).

• Innovative mindset with a passion for keeping up with the latest design trends techniques and tools.

C)Professional Skills:

• Strong collaboration and teamwork skills; able to work closely with technologists researchers and business stakeholders.

• Comfortable working in agile fast-paced environments with multiple priorities and deadlines.

• Excellent communication skills for presenting and explaining design decisions to diverse audiences.

• Strong organizational skills to manage design files assets and resources efficiently.

• Client-facing mindset with the ability to support demos lab tours and external events.
