Junior Service Customer Account Manager MEAT

Job Description Summary

The Junior Service Customer Account Manager for the MEAT (Middle East, Africa, and Turkey) region acts as the operational backbone for our Service team. This role is responsible for supporting the lifecycle of service contracts, coordinating cross-functional field operations, and ensuring the delivery of high-value solutions to our clients. You will assist in managing complex contracts, tracking financial metrics, and maintaining proactive communication with both internal engineering teams and external customers to support the region’s commercial success and operational efficiency.

Job Description Key Responsibilities

• Assist in supporting the lifecycle of service contracts.
• You will support Account Managers in delivering on our contractual commitments and managing warranty periods.
• Act as the primary bridge between on-site technical teams, logistics, and external subcontractors to ensure timely and compliant service delivery.
• Participate in updating key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics.
• You will prepare critical data for customer reviews and reports to drive operational efficiency.
• Manage day-to-day customer communications, contributing to resolve issues proactively in collaboration with our internal engineering and technical experts.
• Assist Service Account Managers in identifying and preparing service renewals and extension proposals, contributing directly to the region’s commercial success.
• Ensure all activities are carried out in compliance with GE Vernova’s policies, including internal system reporting, financial accuracy, and EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety) standards.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or/and Master’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related technical field.
• Fresh graduates up to 4 years of experience in Industrial, Energy, Oil &gas or/ and Manufacturing Environments.
• Foundational understanding of industrial electrical systems (e.g., electrotechnics, automation).
• Strong computer skills, particularly in the MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint).
• Fluent in English.
• The legal right to work in KSA without company sponsorship or time restriction.

Desired Characteristics

Bachelor’s or/and Master’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Electrotechnics, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electromechanical, Control and Instrumentation, Industrial, Chemical Engineering, Project Management, or a related technical field.

Previous internship or early-career experience in an industrial/energy environment.

Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly to business and technical personnel.

Strong analytic and problem-solving skills with an ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

Proactive mindset with the ability to take ownership of assigned tasks.

Good interpersonal and organizational skills to build and maintain strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.

Demonstrated experience in customer-facing roles and comfort with financial tracking/reporting tools.

Highly motivated to learn and develop deep expertise in the full lifecycle of industrial service projects.

Professional proficiency in French is considered a significant asset.
