Kitchen Steward

As a Kitchen Steward , you are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, hygiene, and organization of all kitchen areas, equipment, and utensils. You play a key role in supporting kitchen operations by ensuring a clean and safe working environment for chefs and food production teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, cutlery, and kitchen equipment.

• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen workstations, floors, walls, and storage areas.

• Ensure proper use of dishwashing machines and cleaning chemicals.

• Sort and dispose of waste according to hygiene and recycling standards.

• Support chefs by providing clean utensils and equipment as needed.

• Assist in receiving and storing kitchen supplies when required.

• Maintain cleanliness of back-of-house areas including dishwashing stations.

• Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times.

• Report any damaged equipment or maintenance issues immediately.

• Ensure proper handling and storage of cleaning chemicals and tools.

• Support general kitchen operations during busy periods.

• Follow all health and safety regulations and company procedures.

• Maintain personal hygiene and professional appearance at all times.

Requirements:
• Open to all nationalities
• Minimum 1 year experience in a similar role within hospitality or F&B operations
• Basic knowledge of kitchen hygiene, sanitation, and food safety standards
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Physically fit and able to handle standing, lifting, and repetitive tasks
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to follow instructions and procedures accurately
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
