Manager, Production - AL ITTEFAQ STEEL PRODUCTS CO.

- Overall responsible for the Operation of DRI Modules.
- To keep a track on key Process Parameters, ensure safe & optimum operation of the Modules as per the Standard Work procedures & Work Instructions.
- To ensure that product quality is maintained.
- To ensure the Safety of Plant & People.
- To plan in advance for the annual Shut Down.
- To keep the Energy Intensity at its Minimum.
- To carry out the administrative function of the Department,
- To set the Production target for the Month, keeping a track on the Physical Stock level of various Raw Materials, Consumables & sometimes based on their expected delivery period.
- To follow the Business Plan for the year given by higher management.
- To prepare the Annual Budget for the department.
- To carry out the Administrative function of the Production department in co-ordination with Sr.Manager Operations.
- To keep a track on Key Process parameters & ensure that Modules are operating in a safe manner & at Optimum level. Also to ensure that Standard Work Procedures & Work Instructions are being strictly followed by all.
- To train & educate all the production crew and accentuate on Saudiazation.
- To ensure the Product Quality and water quality is within the range of the commitment.
- To keep a track on IOP Chemical & Physical composition. Also to ensure that size analysis after the screening being fed to the furnace is within the tolerance limit.
- To keep a track on various raw materials like Iron Oxide, Natural Gas, Water, Nitrogen etc and take suitable action in case of any deviation so as to protect the Plant Equipment’s.
- To get the job list prepared & ensure that necessary preparatory works are carried out prior to taking up any planned shut down or planned maintenance.
- To plan for the annual shut down & ensure indenting of the materials well in advance so that there is no delay in the annual plan.
- To help & assist the Operation Crew in Prioritizing the jobs as & when help is sought.
- To monitor various specific consumptions per MT of DRI produced and to keep the energy intensity or consumptions at the minimum possible level & efforts towards cost reduction.
- To ensure the Safety of the Plant & People working in the plant.
