Senior Consultant - Climate, Carbon & ESG Advisory

Job Description

As a Senior Consultant - Climate , Carbon & ESG Advisory you will provide expert guidance and strategic advice to clients on climate change mitigation, carbon management, and sustainability initiatives. This role involves leading projects that assess climate risks, identify carbon reduction opportunities, and support the integration of climate action strategies into business operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage client projects on climate change, carbon strategy, and sustainability.
• Conduct climate risk assessments and carbon footprint calculations for clients.
• Develop and implement carbon management strategies and decarbonization pathways.
• Advise clients on policy compliance, emissions reductions, and climate-related regulations.
• Prepare technical reports, feasibility studies, and sustainability strategies.
• Deliver workshops, presentations, and training sessions on climate change and carbon topics.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
• Collaborate with internal teams to integrate sustainability solutions into engineering designs and projects.
• Monitor industry trends and regulatory developments related to climate change and sustainability.
• Provide mentoring and guidance to junior consultants and team members

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in environmental science, Engineering, Sustainability, or related fields.
• 8-10 years of experience in climate change advisory, carbon management, or sustainability consulting, preferably within the engineering sector.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CEM, LEED, ISO 14001) would be an advantage.
• In-depth knowledge of climate change science, carbon management, and sustainability practices.
• Strong understanding of global and regional environmental regulations and carbon markets.
