Client is looking for a Civil Inspector
Project Type : Mining and Metals
Location: Ras Al-Khair, Saudi Arabia

Requirements/Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or related field or relevant engineering field.
• (Most Civil Inspector roles in KSA require a civil engineering qualification.)
• 5–10 years of experience in industrial construction, infrastructure, or heavy civil works.
• Experience in plant construction, utilities, earthworks, or structural concrete is highly valued.
• (Common across Civil Inspector postings in KSA.)

Responsibilities:
1. QA/QC Inspection Experience

• Strong background in quality control, quality assurance, and site inspections.
• Ability to verify compliance with design specifications, project standards, and safety regulations.
• (QA/QC Civil Inspector roles emphasize compliance and documentation.)

2. Knowledge of Saudi Codes & Standards

• Familiarity with:
• Saudi Building Code (SBC)
• MAADEN standards (often preferred even outside Aramco projects)
• International standards (ASTM, ACI, BS, ISO)

3. Experience with Environmental or Recycling Facilities (Highly Preferred for Maaden)
Experience in:

• Waste management facilities
• Recycling plants
• Industrial process buildings
• Environmental compliance inspections

(While not always listed explicitly, industrial environmental projects require inspectors familiar with specialized civil works.)

4. Documentation & Reporting Skills
Ability to prepare:

• Daily inspection reports
• NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports)
• Method statement reviews
• Material inspection requests (MIRs)
• Work inspection requests (WIRs)

5. Safety & Compliance

• Strong understanding of:
• HSE standards
• Risk assessments
• Permit-to-work systems

6. Vendor & Contractor Coordination
Experience coordinating with:

• EPC contractors
• Subcontractors
• Material suppliers
• Project management teams

7. Certifications (Preferred)

• ISO 9001 awareness
• NEBOSH / OSHA safety certifications
• Civil QC certifications (if applicable)
