Job Summary

The Car Wash Cleaner is responsible for cleaning, drying, and detailing customer vehicles to the highest standards while ensuring excellent customer service, safe work practices, and efficient operation of the car wash facility.

Key Responsibilities

Wash vehicle exteriors using approved equipment and cleaning products.

Dry vehicles thoroughly using microfiber towels and air blowers.

Vacuum vehicle interiors and clean carpets, seats, floor mats, dashboards, windows, and door panels.

Apply tire shine and perform basic detailing services as assigned.

Inspect vehicles before and after washing to ensure quality and identify any pre-existing damage.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the wash bay, equipment, and work areas.

Refill cleaning chemicals and supplies when required.

Follow all company safety procedures and wear the required PPE.

Report equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to the supervisor immediately.

Greet customers professionally and answer basic questions regarding services.

Handle customer vehicles carefully and responsibly.

Support teammates during busy periods to maintain efficient operations.

Requirements

High school education preferred.

Previous experience in a car wash or automotive detailing is an advantage but not required.

Physically fit and able to stand for long periods and work outdoors.

Ability to work in hot weather and fast-paced environments.

Good attention to detail.

Basic communication skills.

Team player with a positive attitude.

Valid drivers license (preferred, if required to move customer vehicles).

Working Conditions

Exposure to water, cleaning chemicals, and varying weather conditions.
