About the Role

We are seeking a talented and experienced Structural Engineer to join our Architecture & Design team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in structural design and analysis for F&B, retail, hospitality, fit-out, and commercial projects . This role involves working closely with architects, interior designers, BIM teams, and project managers to deliver safe, efficient, and innovative structural solutions.

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting both new developments and renovation projects while ensuring compliance with local and international design standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and analyze structural systems for restaurants, cafés, retail outlets, hospitality, and commercial fit-out projects. 
• Prepare structural calculations, design reports, construction drawings, and technical specifications. 
• Coordinate with architects, interior designers, MEP engineers, and BIM teams to ensure seamless project execution. 
• Review architectural layouts and provide practical structural solutions during design development. 
• Perform structural assessments for renovation, refurbishment, and fit-out projects. 
• Review contractor shop drawings, material submittals, and structural calculations. 
• Conduct site inspections to ensure structural works are executed according to approved drawings and specifications. 
• Ensure compliance with local building codes, international standards, and safety regulations. 
• Support project planning, cost optimization, and value engineering initiatives. 
• Resolve technical issues and provide engineering support throughout the project lifecycle. 

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Structural Engineering (Master's degree is an advantage). 
• 5–10 years of experience in structural engineering. 
• Proven experience in F&B, restaurant, café, retail, hospitality, commercial, and fit-out projects . 
• Strong knowledge of reinforced concrete, steel structures, and structural modifications for interior fit-outs. 
• Proficiency in structural design software such as ETABS, SAFE, STAAD.Pro, SAP2000 , and AutoCAD. 
• Experience coordinating with BIM teams and working in Revit is highly preferred. 
• Strong understanding of Saudi Building Code (SBC), international design standards, and construction practices. 
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. 
• GCC experience, particularly in Saudi Arabia, is highly preferred.

Candidates who have worked on restaurants, cafés, coffee chains, retail outlets, hotels, and commercial interiors , with expertise in structural coordination and fit-out solutions, will be highly preferred.
