CNC Operator I - KSA Manufacturing

Primary Role Focus
Operates CNC machines and supporting equipment under direct supervision to produce machined components safely and efficiently. Reports to the Machine Shop Lead.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities
1. Operate CNC machines using approved programs, setup sheets, and work instructions.
2. Prepare, identify, cut, and stage raw material using saws and supporting equipment.
3. Load and unload material while maintaining traceability requirements.
4. Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections.
5. Record production, quality, and operational data accurately.
6. Perform routine tooling changes and preventive maintenance activities under supervision.
7. Support machine setup and production changeovers.
8. Identify and report safety, quality, tooling, material, or equipment concerns.
9. Maintain housekeeping standards and 5S requirements.
10. Comply with Packers Plus quality, safety, operational, and traceability requirements.

Position Requirements - Experience and Skills
• Minimum 1-3 years manufacturing, machining, or CNC operation experience preferred.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and manufacturing documentation.
• Experience using precision measuring instruments.
• Basic understanding of machining processes.

Education and Training
• Technical diploma, vocational training, machinist apprenticeship, or equivalent experience preferred.
• First Aid certification considered an asset.
• Internal Packers Plus training as required.

Physical, Business and Safety Requirements
• Compliance with Packers Plus Health and Safety Program.
• Able to lift 50 lbs.
• Shift work, including weekends and on call, may be required.
• Safety Sensitive.
• Subject to pre-employment medical assessment.
• Subject to pre-employment, post-incident, random and reasonable cause drug and alcohol testing.
