The ideal candidate will have experience inspiring students to become conscientious and compassionate thinkers and global citizens. Valid teaching certification/licensure. Knowledge Knowledge of effective classroom teaching practice. Knowledge of Understanding by Design (UbD) principles. EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS The ideal candidate will have: Experience Teaching at lower elementary level in an international context. Leading and inspiring elementary school students to be informed and inspired community members and leaders. Organizing student projects and performance tasks. Documenting curriculum according to Understanding by Design (UbD) principles. Implementing Reading and Writing Project. Teaching mathematics conceptually with an emphasis on multiple representations.
