CIVIL 3D MODELER (UTILTIES)

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain accurate 3D BIM models for wet and dry utility networks using Autodesk Civil 3D.
• Prepare utility layouts, profiles, cross-sections, and construction drawings.
• Model wet utility systems including potable water, sewer, stormwater drainage, irrigation, and foul sewer networks.
• Model dry utility systems including electrical, telecom, fiber optic, ICT, street lighting, utility corridors, and duct banks.
• Develop utility structures such as manholes, chambers, catch basins, and handholes.
• Coordinate utility models with roads, structures, landscape, and other engineering disciplines to ensure clash-free designs.
• Perform clash detection and model coordination using Navisworks.
• Produce IFC, shop, and as-built drawings.
• Update BIM models based on design revisions, RFIs, and construction requirements.
• Ensure compliance with project BIM standards, BIM Execution Plans (BEP), and client/local authority requirement

Key Qualifications:

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• 3+ years of experience in Civil 3D utilities modeling for infrastructure projects.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D, Navisworks. Inventor, Part Builder, Subassembly Composer, AutoCAD.
• Experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) or BIM 360 is preferred.
• Understanding of BIM workflows, multidisciplinary coordination, and clash detection.
• Experience in roads, utilities, and infrastructure projects within Saudi Arabia or the GCC is preferred.
• Familiarity with Saudi authority standards and utility requirements is an advantage.
• Knowledge of Revit and utility corridor coordination is an added advantage.
