Job Purpose

Accountable for growing Haleon Saudi Arabia's Expert business sales and impact by establishing a very efficient and strong go to market model, leveraging digital capabilities, strengthening HCP and DHCP pharmacist recommendation, advocacy and engagement for Haleon brands. The role leads the Saudi Expert strategy and execution agenda across sales, tender participation, medical detailing, expert marketing, omnichannel activations, KOL engagement, scientific education, field force effectiveness and compliant third-party interactions. The role ensures local execution is aligned with Haleon global guidelines, regional priorities, Saudi regulatory requirements and the highest standards of governance, compliance and business integrity.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the Saudi Expert strategy to increase sales in health care institutions (including tenders), HCP/DHCP prescription, recommendation and pharmacist advocacy for Haleon brands, ensuring strong linkage to commercial priorities, brand strategies and local market opportunities.
• Drive expert marketing plans through effective allocation of budget and resources across face-to-face detailing, sampling, HCP/HCO meetings, scientific conferences, medical education, audio-visual activities, digital medical activations and omnichannel engagement.
• Lead medical detailing strategy, including field force sizing, geographic deployment, customer targeting, coverage, frequency, workload, call quality, KPIs, productivity and field force optimization in line with global guidance and regional strategic priorities.
• Translate global and regional Expert practices into Saudi-specific operating plans, ensuring strong adaptation to local customer needs, regulatory expectations, marketplace dynamics and Haleon ways of working.
• Lead, coach and develop Expert team members and people managers, including selection, onboarding, retention, performance management, capability building, coaching, tactical planning and continuous motivation of teams.
• Collaborate with HR to build reward, recognition, learning and development plans for the Expert team, including incentive principles, recognition programs, capability curricula, role expansion and career development opportunities.
• Drive best-in-class risk management and governance processes, including SOP adherence, internal monitoring, decision-making controls and proactive identification and mitigation of risks linked to interactions with HCPs, HCOs, medical associations, government officials, dental schools and pharmacists.
• Work closely with Marketing, Medical, Regulatory, Commercial Excellence, Sales, Supply and Regional/Global Expert teams to convert the broader Expert strategy into clear local execution plans, priorities and measurable outcomes.
• Lead pre-launch Expert and medical detailing plans for innovations in partnership with local and regional commercial teams, ensuring launch readiness, customer engagement plans and compliant educational materials.
• Build and manage HCP/DHCP endorsement programs, including database quality, customer segmentation, reporting, validation, speaker engagement, sponsorships, disease awareness campaigns, digital expert activation, clinic branding and sampling excellence.
• Manage third-party and outsourced Expert-related arrangements in partnership with Legal, Procurement, Compliance and HR, including contracts, payment terms, communication standards, training, code of conduct, ABAC requirements and performance delivery.
• Oversee agency and supplier interactions for Expert marketing activities, including campaign design, medical detailing toolkits, brand-related expert materials, approvals and compliance with Haleon policies and Saudi regulatory requirements.
• Shape and accelerate Expert omnichannel engagement in Saudi Arabia, ensuring coordination with regional/global direction and effective integration of digital capabilities, data, CRM/SFA insights and field execution.
