Senior AP Accountant

Description
We are looking for an experienced Senior AP Accountant to manage day-to-day AP activities and time-sensitive bank payments to suppliers, employees, government entities and affiliates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process daily bank transfers, supplier/vendor payments, employee payments and government payments.
- Manage scheduled payments and provide timely payment confirmations and supporting documents.
- Monitor payment-related emails and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure deadlines are met.
- Process foreign currency payments to foreign vendors and ensure correct exchange rates.
- Manage SADAD payments for utilities, customs duties and other government-related transactions.
- Record payments, bank charges and other transactions accurately in SAP.
- Support LC/Guarantee-related bank charges and documentation.
- Act as Cashier backup and perform cash reconciliation when required.
- Maintain the accounting records and supporting documentation.
Essential Attributes:
- Highly disciplined and organized.
- Strong AP and bank-payment experience.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Highly responsive, proactive and deadline-oriented.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Requirements:
- Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
- Proven AP and bank-payment experience.
- Good SAP and Excel knowledge.
- Experience in a large corporate organization is preferred.
- Saudi/GCC experience is an advantage.
