Chief Supply Chain Officer

Overview

Our client is a large-scale FMCG and retail organisation with nationwide operations across Saudi Arabia, supplying both modern trade and traditional channels. The business is undergoing a major supply chain transformation to support growth, margin optimisation, and service reliability aligned with Vision 2030 ambitions.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end supply chain strategy covering planning, procurement, warehousing, logistics, and last-mile distribution.
• Be accountable for service levels, cost efficiency, inventory optimisation, and network scalability across the Kingdom.
• Redesign the supply chain operating model to support omnichannel growth and regional expansion.
• Oversee large, multi-site teams and drive performance management through KPIs and governance frameworks.
• Collaborate with commercial, manufacturing, and finance leadership to align demand and supply.
• Sponsor technology and automation initiatives to modernise supply chain capabilities.

Candidate Profile / Qualifications

• Extensive senior leadership experience in supply chain within FMCG, retail, or large distribution environments.
• Proven exposure to complex, high-volume supply chains operating at national scale.
• Experience in Saudi Arabia or comparable GCC markets is strongly preferred.
• Strategic thinking combined with hands-on operational leadership.
• Strong understanding of S&OP, inventory optimisation, and logistics networks.
• Experience leading transformation initiatives and managing large workforces is critical.
• Executive presence and cross-functional influence are mandatory for success in this role.
