Our company is looking for a Senior Project Engineer to join our team.

Responsibilities:

• Developing your leadership skills by working with entry-level engineers, technicians and support teams;
• Issuing of the follow-up and closing of deviation reports;
• Participate in both hardware and software testing, and taking lead in performing FAT with customer;
• Conducting technical review / schedule follow up during detailed engineering, procurement and assembly of sub-vendor equipment;
• Developing inspection and test plan for the commissioning activities;
• Working closely with customers to produce overall single Line diagram as per project specification / class / regulations / customer requirement;
• Responsible for equipment sizing, technical specification / schedule planning for vendor purchase order;
• Resolving technical issues both remotely and on domestic and international customer sites;
• Project Engineering Ownership through the entire System engineering life cycle from Project initiation to FAT, SAT and plant commissioning;
• Providing technical support for testing, installation and commissioning activities;
• Travelling is required during site commissioning and durations may be up to 2 months, depending on Job requirements;
• Developing and programming of Control system’s logics in accordance to the client’s requirement specifications and FDS.

Requirements:

• Manage the development of the System internal Interfaces;
• Interfacing with other system engineering staff to ensure that available expertise is utilised;
• Engaging with stakeholders both inside and outside the organisation;
• Providing technical leadership to the project development team and providing technical assistance to the team;
• “Owning” and protecting the technical baseline against scope creep during the development phase of the product;
• Ensuring the product/system being developed complies with all applicable national and international Standards (in particular safety);
• Ensuring the product/system being developed complies with the technical baseline;
• Assisting the Project Manager with work planning, costing and scheduling;
• Interfacing with discipline-specific design specialists where required;
• Minimum of 12 years working experience is required for this position;
• Candidates must have at least Bachelor’s / College Degree;
