Asset Control Manager Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Asset Control Manager to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Keep stock control systems up to date to make sure inventories are accurate;
- Prepare regular reports and statistics on a daily, weeky, and monthly basis;
- Develops, writes and implements project specific warehouse procedures;
- Oversees overall cleanliness of the warehouse and monitoring of warehouse maintenance;
- Create and maintain comprehensive database and documentation of materials stored in warehouse;
- Observe and report inventory issues and trends;
- Recommend process improvements and assist in implementation of process changes when appropriate;
- Evaluates and updates standard operating plan periodically;
- Overseeing dismantle and turnover of set;
- Overseeing receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, policies, and procedures;
- Update monthly cost savings (based on re-used materials) and prepare reports as required;
- Maintains pertinent documents of the warehouse such as in and out records, inventory records and confidential records;
- Suggests and nominates materials for reuse;
- Setting-up layout and maintains physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts to ensure efficient space utilization;
- Design and implement best practices in warehouse operations.
Requirements:
- Skills in handling pressure and stress in managing time and working with demanding personalities;
- At least 5-7 years of working experience is required. Preferably with at least 3 years of work related experience in this field;
- Ability to work in a multi-tasked environment and build strong work relationships;
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent in relevant work experience. Preferably with Professional License or equivalent;
- Demonstrated excellence in organizational and conflict management skills;
- Ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective plans and strategies;
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications;
- With comprehensive knowledge in warehouse management, supply chain management and inventory control;
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills;
- Responsible, innovative, pro-active, dynamic, hardworking and have strong work ethic;
