Cost Analyst

Cost Analyst I performs variance analysis between actual and standard costs to assist management in decision making or other financial initiatives. Monitors, analyzes, and reports on inventory valuation, production, and various other costs. Being a Cost Analyst I provides productivity analysis. May require a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent. Additionally, Cost Analyst I typically reports to a Manager. The Cost Analyst I works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. Work is closely managed. To be a Cost Analyst I typically requires 0-2 years of related experience.

Our company is looking for a Cost Analyst to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • High level of attention to detail accurate & fast worker;
  • An understanding of both cost accounting & general accounting;
  • Should be able to interact/deal with clients at a senior level;
  • Reasonable knowledge of Foreign Exchange Contracts and FEC Accounting requirements will be an advantage.

Requirements:

  • Experienced Employees specializing in Finance – General/Cost Accounting or equivalent;
  • With a strong cost system background and excellent analytical skills and understanding of accounting principles;
  • Atleast 1 year experience in Cost Accounting;
  • Graduate of Industrial Engineering, Accounting and equivalent;
  • Bachelor’s Degree and/ or Professional License in Finance, Accountancy, Banking or equivalent;
  • Must have knowledge in handling time motion study, product costing and cost analysis;
  • Knowledgeable in SAP ERP system;
  • Can handle pressure and meet deadlines.
