Implementation Manager

Implementation Manager manages a team of implementation specialists that are responsible for the implementation of technical systems, software, hardware or solutions. Oversees and supports multiple the implementation projects. Being an Implementation Manager reviews external clients product demands, develops project plans and ensures that implementations are completed on time, within budget, and meet client expectations. May be involved in pre-sales product demonstrations or provide assistance in scoping projects or developing proposals. Additionally, Implementation Manager requires a bachelor’s degree. Typically reports to a director. The Implementation Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes. To be an Implementation Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 to 3 years supervisory experience may be required.

Responsibilities:

  • Give feedback and participate in projects in the design phase with suggestions in best practices and cost saving potential;
  • Present project plan to the client and internal stakeholders;
  • Develop and hand over process flows, work instructions and layout to the operation team;
  • Support in the IT WMS individual set up to customer requirements together with the IT department;
  • Coordinate troubleshooting internal operations, business development, IT and other departments on the proposed solution;

Requirements:

  • Logistics background (good and hands-on understanding of the operation in a warehouse or supply chain);
  • IT background to be able to become WMS super user;
  • Team player to work with different in-house departments;
  • Demonstrates a strong service mentality;
  • At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position with a business degree;
  • Good verbal and written English skills;
  • Goes the extra miles to understand and meet customer expectations;
  • Builds strong working relationships;
  • Good with MS Excel and budget understanding;
  • Excellent communication and problem solving skills;
  • Takes initiative to propose innovations and improvements;
  • Project management skills required and strong assertive personality.
