Our company is looking for a Learning & Development Consultant to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Conducts on-the-job observations, identifies gaps in performance and provides leadership with feedback and recommendations for improvement;
  • Models and champions a culture of commitment to the Company’s values, standards and overall business strategies;

  • Relationship building with all stakeholders;
  • Identify training needs;
  • Administer assessments;
  • Learning administration;
  • Assess application and integration of learning into the workplace;
  • Support to staff where applicable;
  • Contribute towards the Bank Group learning and development strategy formulation and implementation;
  • Schedule all learning interventions and record keeping;
  • Design, develop, implement and maintain training programs;
  • Establish, maintain and promote working relationships with designated individuals from the Bank departments;
  • Identify and interpret client skills needs and design, and develop relevant and fit-for-purpose learning interventions through strong partnerships;
  • Serve as a learning facilitator/integrator during learning interventions, as and when required.

Requirements:

  • Exhibits passion for constant learning and demonstrates an eagerness to share that passion with others;
  • Experiencein applying adult learning principles and consulting, coaching, mentoring, and training techniques;
  • Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time, including internationally;
  • Own transport and valid driver’s license essential;
  • Experience with technical support training and social media training;
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision;
  • Demonstrated ability to be flexible and adaptable to changing needs and circumstances;
  • Experience coaching;
  • NQF5 OD ETDP qualification required;
  • Matric;
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends;
  • Valid Drivers license;
  • Must be willing and able to travel;
  • Proficiency in Adobe Connect and WebEx content delivery;
  • Minimum 3 years’ Learning Facilitation experience required.
