Our company is looking for a Demi Chef de Partie to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure food stuffs are of a good quality and stored correctly;
  • Be environmentally aware;
  • Prepare and present high quality dishes within company guidelines;
  • Report maintenance, hygiene and hazard issues;
  • Prepare all mis-en-place for all relevant menus;
  • Assist other departments wherever necessary and maintain good working relationships;
  • Contribute to controlling costs, improving gross profit margins, and other departmental and financial targets;
  • Assist in positive outcomes from guest queries in a timely and efficient manner;
  • Keep all working areas clean and tidy and ensure no cross contamination;
  • Assist with the maximisation of F&B revenue through effective food cost control;
  • Produce consistent quality specialised meals;
  • Assist to supervise your section, including development of Team Members;
  • Work closely with our Chef De Partie and Sous Chefs;
  • Assist in developing and delivering menus that ensure satisfaction;
  • Keep up to date with culinary trends.

Requirements:

  • Ability to work on your own or in teams;
  • Positive attitude;
  • Formal qualification in culinary arts from a recognized culinary training institution;
  • Good English language, both verbal and written;
  • Basic Food Hygiene Certificate;
  • Ability to work under pressure;
  • NVQ Level 2;
  • Good communication skills.
