Company Nurse Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Company Nurse to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Perform site visits if necessary;
- Perform first-aid to injured/ill employees;
- Counsel workers about work-related illnesses and injuries and emotional and/or family problems;
- Recognize and prevent health effects from hazardous exposures and treat workers’ injuries and illnesses;
- Independently observe and assess workers’ health status with respect to job tasks and hazards;
- Keep medical records with utmost confidentiality;
- Other tasks as may be assigned by supervisor;
- Creates an inventory of medicines and other medical supplies;
- Ensures that stock of medicines and other necessary supplies are sufficient;
- Promotes good health, work place safety, and other related matters to all employees;
- Administrative support for HR/ maintains records;
- Provides assistance to employees in availing medical services through HMO accredited hospitals;
- Secure and ensure that the sick employees submit “fit to work” certificate;
- Administer first aid treatments and provide medications for employees as needed;
- Monitor and record the patient’s condition.
Requirements:
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply;
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
- At least 1 year hospital experience;
- At least 2-4 years experience specialized as Nurse/Medical Support & Assistant or equivalent;
- BOSH Training a plus but not required;
- With at least 2 years of experience in a corporate, clinic, or hospital set-up;
- Assisting in the administration and Implementation of health and processing of HMO concerns;
- Interpersonal skills;
- Perform safety walk weekly;
- Candidate must possess at least a Professional License (Passed Board/Bar/Professional License Exam) in Nursing;
- Review accidents and suggest to prevent similar future incidents;
- With Basic Occupational Safety and Health(BOSH), OHNAP and COSH Training and Certificate;
- Monthly medical supplies inventory & requisition;
- Ensure employee safety training, classroom lectures, demos and hands-on instruction;
- Willing to be assigned in project site.
