Our company is looking for a Chief Compliance Officer to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with Human Resources Department to provide appropriate and adequate training on the ACS to all employees and directors;
  • Conduct audit on the whistleblowing process in relation to anti-bribery and corruption;
  • Conduct a comprehensive bribery & corruption risk assessment on all business units;
  • Ensure that the ACS is kept up to date and in line with any changes to any anti-bribery and corruption regulations and/or laws;
  • Periodically consider corrective action to improve effectiveness of the ACS and make changes to the same, where necessary;
  • Ensure that all documentation in relation to the ACS is maintained and kept systematically;
  • Create and manage training content and materials in relation to the ACS;
  • Fully engage and communicate with key ACS stakeholders to effect the implementation of the ACS;
  • Propose and obtain approval from the Board of Directors an annual communications plan for the ACS to internal and external parties;
  • Support the relevant ACS stakeholders in the implementation of all ACS related policies and procedures through effective training and communications.

Requirements:

  • Good command of oral and written English;
  • Minimum 10 years relevant experience in governance, compliance, internal audit or legal function;
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills;
  • Good computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint;
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Risk Management, Law, Finance, or other related disciplines;
  • IT literate with database knowledge ;
  • Personal traits: self-motivated, confident, detail-oriented, a self-starter, independence;
  • Good understanding of the anti-bribery and corruption regulations and laws in Malaysia;
  • Experience in developing and operationalizing compliance policies and initiatives;
  • Strong analytical skills and able to exercise sound judgment.
