Restaurant Front of House Manager/Floor Manager Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Restaurant Front of House Manager/Floor Manager to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Maintaining dress code standards;
- Checking that all duties have been completed by floor staff;
- Assisting in all areas where needed;
- Implementing and following the rules of the company;
- Presenting a positive image of the company;
- Managing a large staff complement;
- Maintaining and sustaining top service levels;
- Dealing with customers, compliments and complaints, following up etc;
- Opening and closing duties.
Requirements:
- Computer knowledge (word, outlook, excel);
- Must have knowledge of different types of whiskeys;
- Experience in a large restaurant is advantageous;
- Knowledge of Pilot software;
- Good knowledge on duties and procedures in a restaurant environment;
- Grade 12 National Senior Certificate or equivalent;
- Post-matric qualification is advantageous (especially relating to the field of work);
- The applicant should have at least 2_3 years of senior experience in the proposed field.
