Senior Finance Manager Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Senior Finance Manager to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Team Management;
- Monthly reporting and forecasting;
- Responsible for compiling and filing of the annual financial statements;
- Drive, quantify and track margin enhancement and savings projects and evaluate risk and opportunities on margin, challenging inefficiencies;
- Responsible for optimising and enhancing effective financial monitoring and driving continues improvements in the finance function;
- Provide ad hoc analysis and reporting for effective business decision support;
- Develop, implement and maintain financial policies, procedures and guidelines;
- ensure the internal control are always up to date and sufficient;
- leading a team of 20 people;
- Responsible for the implementation of systems and processes related to Finance Modules for front end as well as ERP systems;
- Manage relationships and day to day communications with external auditors, tax agents, tax authorities in coordination with Corporate directives;
- Collect, interpret and review financial information;
- Ensure records meet financial regulations;
- overseeing the finance day to day operation and reporting in compliance with applicable accounting standards and procedure;
- Maintain profit and loss, tax, and asset records.
Requirements:
- 5 Year relevant experience in ICT Environment, Retail and/or Manufacturing;
- Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English, Mandarin;
- CA (SA) within the Mining sector;
- Sound technical, IT and numerical abilities;
- Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal – English and Bahasa Malaysia;
- Negotiation skills and the ability to develop strong working relationships;
- Team player, motivated and independent;
- Ability to stick to time constraints;
- Chartered accountant qualification holder;
- Corporate Finance experience;
- Computer skills – Microsoft Office (must be strong in Excel), IFCA, Autocount and UBS;
- 3-5 years of managerial experience;
- Min 7 years of experience in property developer company with 2-3 years in a managerial role;
- Possess leadership, planning and organizing abilities;
- Possess strong organizational, multi-tasking and time management skills.
