Accounting Associate

Compute, classify, and record numerical data to keep financial records complete. Perform any combination of routine calculating, posting, and verifying duties to obtain primary financial data for use in maintaining accounting records. May also check the accuracy of figures, calculations, and postings pertaining to business transactions recorded by other workers.

Our company is looking for a Accounting Associate to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Weekly and monthly inventory of stocks and submission of inventory reports;
  • Encoding of Account Payable Voucher – Receiving Report in QuickBooks;
  • Organize financial data into useable information and relevant reports;
  • Weekly inventory and submission of monitoring report of all UNUSED accountable forms;
  • Proper execution of other tasks that may be assigned by the immediate superior from time to time;
  • Ensure validity and accuracy of transactions;
  • Employee & Reseller order taking and releasing of orders;
  • Prepare bank deposits;
  • Issue invoices to customers and external partners, as needed;
  • Reconcile invoices and identify discrepancies;
  • Review employee expenses and make reimbursements;
  • Process and submit all government related reports in a timely manner;
  • Enter financial transactions into internal databases;
  • Enter and code financial transactions appropriately;
  • Create and update expense reports.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’ degree in Accounting, Business or related fields;
  • Communication skills;
  • Willing to work in Eastwood;
  • Good work ethics and ability to manage deadlines;
  • Computer literate and highly trainable;
  • Comprehensive knowledge of computer accounting software systems;
  • Not less than 25 Years Old;
  • Can work under pressure and minimal supervision;
  • Excellent analytical skills;
  • Financial Statement Analysis;
  • Fresh graduate may apply;
  • Background in MYOB is a plus but not preferred;
  • needs a good grasp of bookkeeping and record keeping;
  • CPA is an advantage, but not required;
  • Must be orderly and systematic, is conscious of deadlines and is keen to attention and details.
