GM Finance & Accounts Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a GM Finance & Accounts to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Support other divisions to assess cost and benefits of respective initiative/ project/ investment and ensure expenditure is within approved budget;
- Provide financial evaluation for new investment/ initiatives/ project to support decision making process;
- Responsible for Group Finance Management including but not limited to ; cashflow management, banking facilities & FX hedging;
- Managing, responsible and accountable for finance and accounts employees;
- Responsible as committee member of Dealer Management;
- Ensure approval for key projects and initiatives;
- Spearhead cost planning activity to achieve target model profit, monitoring on monthly basis and advise respective division on improvement plans;
- Champion and drive the cost reduction activity company-wide to promote cost efficiency to all level of business operations;
- Manage risk portfolio for Finance & Accounts;
- Establishes system controls for new financial systems and develops procedures to improve existing systems;
- Responsible for accurate & timely reporting of the Group financial results as per target agreed;
- Attend all official meetings and discussions.
Requirements:
- Strong business acumen, people-oriented, assertive, outspoken and able to deal with different level of people;
- Min 10 years of working experience, preferably from the automotive industry;
- Experience in restructuring is highly preferred;
- Experience in leading a very big team.
