Our company is looking for a Senior Bookkeeper to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Updating and reconciliation of Fixed Asset Register;
  • Compile monthly accounting, loans and advances on journals;
  • Prepare full set of accounts;
  • Creating Suppliers and Customers on System;
  • General Ledger Reconciliations;
  • Processing of Journal Entries;
  • Compile and report on accounting entries,that have been incorrectly captured from the Debtors Ledger;
  • Preparing and submitting of Statutory Returns ie: VAT, PAYE & Bargaining Councils;
  • Sending of customer statements;
  • Debtors – Reporting on delinquent accounts;
  • Support internal finance function;
  • Provide technical support to client on related accounting and tax issues;
  • Support ad-hoc project;
  • Intercompany Balancing;
  • Daily and monthly debtor and supplier journals.

Requirements:

  • Must have a Degree In Finance (Non Negotiable);
  • Preferably has SAIPA Articles experience;
  • Should have at least 3 years experience in Bookkeeping;
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in accounting;
  • Must have knowledge on accountings systems;
  • Relevant Accounting degree;
  • Experience in XERO, Quickbooks nd MYOB is preferred;
  • Good command of written and spoken English, Cantonese and Putonghua;
  • Must have sound knowledge on IT systems;
  • Proficiency in using MS Word, Excel;
  • Higher diploma or above in accounting or related discipline;
  • 5 years Bookkeeping experience;
  • Immediate availability or short notice is highly preferred;
  • Previous work experience with Great Plains is advantageous;
  • Detail minded, self-motivated, independent, good communication and interpersonal skills.
