JOB SUMMARY

The Cluster Assistant Director of Content will lead the development, governance and execution
of the destination content strategy across all Marriott Luxury properties within the cluster. The
role is responsible for ensuring every piece of content—from campaign assets and social
storytelling to sales collateral, destination itineraries and partner communications—supports
brand positioning, drives demand and delivers a consistent luxury narrative.
Working closely with Marriott International, Red Sea Global, Saudi Tourism Authority, regional
marketing teams and commercial stakeholders, this role will establish a best-in-class content
ecosystem that supports digital marketing, PR, social media, sales, revenue generation and
destination partnerships.
Develop destination-first storytelling that showcases the unique positioning and experiences for
each or our Marriott Luxury, The Red Sea and AMAALA portfolio of resorts and experiences
across the portfolio
• Ensure content relevance for priority source markets, aligning with regional demand
drivers and seasonal travel patterns
• Improve efficiency and consistency in content production across properties and brands
• Strengthen collaboration with regional marketing, digital, social, and PR teams
• Support campaign performance, SEO visibility, and social engagement

Key Responsibilities

Content Strategy
• Develop and lead property focused content strategy
• Align content with priority source markets and seasonal travel demand.
Creative Direction
Provide creative leadership across all visual storytelling by ensuring:
• Consistent luxury brand standards
• Editorial quality
• Destination authenticity
• Premium production values
• Brand differentiation
Source Market Localization
• Ensure content resonates with key international markets through cultural insights, travel
motivations, and localized messaging.
• Partner with regional marketing teams to tailor campaigns for priority feeder markets.
Content Governance
Establish governance across the cluster by:
• Managing content calendars
• Maintaining digital asset libraries
• Defining content standards
• Creating editorial guidelines
• Managing approvals
• Ensuring brand compliance
• Reducing duplication across properties
Content Development & Production
• Oversee the creation of high-quality content including:
o Editorial storytelling
o Social media assets
o Video and visual content
o Campaign landing pages
o Destination guides and itineraries
• Manage content calendars across cluster marketing initiatives.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Work closely with:
o Regional Brand team
o Digital Marketing
o Social Media
o Brand Marketing
o PR and Communications
Ensure content supports integrated campaigns and commercial initiatives from The Red Sea
and AMAALA destination.
Property Partnership & Enablement
• Partner strategically with resort marketing teams to identify, curate and elevate distinctive
stories, guest experiences and destination moments that reinforce each property's unique
brand positioning while contributing to the broader Marriott Luxury, The Red Sea &
AMAALA narrative.
• Provide leadership and guidance on editorial planning, content strategy and storytelling
standards, ensuring alignment with the cluster content strategy, brand guidelines and
commercial priorities.
• Enable resort marketing teams through content planning frameworks, best practices and
creative direction, fostering a collaborative culture that maximizes storytelling
opportunities and operational efficiencies across the portfolio.
• Champion a destination-first approach to content creation, ensuring property-level
initiatives contribute to a cohesive and compelling narrative that strengthens both
individual resort visibility and the overall destination brand.
Agency & Production Management
• Manage external creative agencies, photographers, videographers, and content creators.
• Ensure production quality, brand consistency, and budget efficiency.
Budget Management
• Develop and manage the annual content production and creative budget across the
Marriott Luxury, The Red Sea & AMAALA portfolio, ensuring efficient allocation of
resources aligned with commercial priorities.
• Forecast and monitor expenditure across content creation, photography, videography,
creative production, copywriting, agency retainers, talent, licensing and content
distribution.
• Identify opportunities to optimize production through integrated cluster shoots, shared
asset creation and cross-property collaboration, maximizing return on investment while
reducing duplication.
• Ensure all content initiatives are delivered within approved budgets, adhering to Marriott
International procurement and financial processes.
• Measure the effectiveness and ROI of content investments, providing regular budget
reporting and recommendations to improve efficiency and business impact.
This elevates the responsibility to an Associate Director level by emphasizing financial
ownership, resource optimization, and ROI, rather than simply managing production costs.
Performance & Optimization
• In collabroation with the digital marekting team, track and analyze content performance
across digital channels.
• Optimize storytelling and formats based on engagement, reach, and conversion metrics.

property teams, regional marketing, commercial functions, tourism partners and external
agencies.
• Project & Production Leadership: Strong experience managing large-scale creative
productions, budgets, timelines and multiple concurrent projects.

technologies and formats to enhance brand visibility and audience engagement.

Qualifications
• 9-10+ years experience in content marketing, editorial, digital storytelling, or brand
marketing
• Experience in hospitality, travel, tourism, or lifestyle marketing preferred
• Strong understanding of international travel audiences and source market behavior
• Proven ability to develop multi-channel content strategies
• Experience managing creative production and agencies
• Strong storytelling and editorial capabilities
