Multi-state engineering firm looking to add a Senior Civil Engineer to their Fort Worth office!

Responsibilities:

Manage/prepare plans and specifications for public works projects (drainage, streets, storm drains, sewer lines)
Answer inquiries regarding projects
Develop revised design/construction standards for public works structures
Serve as a construction inspector to ensure compliance
Investigate field problems
Coordinate/perform field work associated with infrastructure projects
Responsible for other administrative duties as needed
Provide technical expertise to a variety of agencies
Prepare estimates/feasibility studies
Prepare visual presentations/reports to present at City Council and Planning Commission meetings
Coordinate public works activities with other City departments, divisions, sections and outside agencies
Secure appropriate grants for agencies
Perform duties related to NPDES compliance for agencies

Requirements:

Bachelor s degree from an accredited college/university with a focus on Civil Engineering coursework
5+ years of professional design, plan review and project administration experience (public agency setting preferred)
PE License preferred
PMP Certification preferred
Knowledge of civil engineering principles, practices and methods
Experience with engineering software applications
Experience with the materials, methods and equipment used in the construction of public works projects
