Employment Type: Independent Contractor. Minimum 3-month contract with the potential for an indefinite extension based on performance. We provide equipment.

Position Overview

This is a high-velocity, high-pressure administrative and client-facing position built for an absolute professional who thrives under pressure and embraces constant change. You will act as the central liaison between our Area Managers, Loan Officers, Loan Operation Specialists, and our borrowers (farmers).

Your day will be evenly split between meticulous document governance—ensuring that complex loan files are pristine, complete, and fully verified—and heavy, continuous inbound/outbound phone communication with borrowers. Farmers work in intense seasonal windows; when they call, they expect rapid, clear, and composed answers. The ideal candidate possesses a thick skin, exceptional organization, a highly professional phone presence, and the ability to rapidly master financial concepts without getting shaken by fluid process updates.

Key Responsibilities

1. Loan Intake, Verification & Document Governance

File Compliance & Auditing: Serve as the gatekeeper for the operations team. Review incoming loan files for absolute data accuracy, confirming loan types, product selections, and borrower entities match internal requirements.
Document Chase & Verification: Use structured checklists to audit, collect, and verify critical financial data points. Proactively identify missing, incorrect, or outdated files, and aggressively chase borrowers or loan officers to secure outstanding items.
Database Hygiene: Organize and upload finalized loan packages into our internal document repository (Synthesis), enforcing absolute naming convention consistency and ensuring zero duplicate or legacy versions exist.

2. Fast-Paced Customer Support & Borrower Relations

High-Volume Voice Operations: Manage a steady pipeline of live incoming and outgoing phone calls throughout the day with agricultural borrowers.
Escalation Governance: Calmly and professionally diffuse high-pressure customer conversations with absolute composure, maintaining elite customer service standards similar to fast-paced financial services environments.
Onboarding & Servicing Support: Coordinate post-closing account care by compiling and dispatching welcome packages within 7 business days, guiding farmers through portal setup, and researching account or invoice inquiries via platform systems (Mineral Tree).

3. Sales & Operations Cross-Functional Support

Pipeline Unbottlenecking: Act as the direct, real-time liaison between sales forces and operations executives to push files through to closing, keeping up with rapid system migrations and workflow shifts seamlessly.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

2+ years of experience working in loan operations, high-volume financial services support, fast-paced mortgage servicing, or advanced corporate administrative positions.
Elite English Communication & Accent: Native or absolute C1 English fluency with a highly polished, reassuring, and articulate verbal presentation.
High-Speed Resilience: Proven track record working within lean teams where systems, software, and guidelines change rapidly. You must be someone who "reads between the lines" and self-corrects rather than needing repetitive oversight.
CST Schedule Commitment: Complete availability to maintain a strict 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM US Central Time daily schedule to align with our regional operations hubs.
Technical Aptitude: High comfort navigating multi-layered digital ecosystems, CRM structures, intermediate Microsoft Excel, and document management systems.

Preferred Pluses (Nice to Have)

Agricultural Exposure: Prior professional or personal exposure to farming, agribusiness, crop management, or ag lending is an exceptional advantage. Candidates with this background naturally grasp our specialized phrasing and terminology much faster.
Direct working experience using document platforms like Synthesis or invoice processing tools like Mineral Tree .
