Senior Bookkeeper & GAAP Accounting Specialist

About the Role

Our client is a fast-growing US financial services and revenue-based financing firm upgrading their financial infrastructure. They are hiring two detail-driven Senior Bookkeepers to take 100% ownership of daily bookkeeping, high-volume account reconciliations, GL management, and P&L generation within QuickBooks using US GAAP standards.

Key Responsibilities

Full-Cycle Bookkeeping & GAAP: Maintain general ledgers in QuickBooks and manage month-end/year-end closes (journal entries, accruals, prepayments, and adjustments).
High-Volume Reconciliations: Perform daily and monthly reconciliations for bank accounts, credit cards, loan accounts, and merchant payment gateways.
Financial Reporting: Generate monthly Profit & Loss (P&L) statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports with absolute precision.
Variance & Operational Support: Audit entries to resolve discrepancies, coordinate AP/AR logging, and maintain organized digital accounting SOPs.

What Our Client Is Looking For

3+ Years Experience: Hands-on mastery of QuickBooks Online or QuickBooks Desktop for full-cycle bookkeeping.
US GAAP Mastery: Deep working knowledge of US GAAP, accrual accounting methods, and audit-ready financial statements.
Education: Degree in Accounting, Finance, or an equivalent professional certification.
English Proficiency: Excellent written and spoken English to collaborate directly with executive leadership.
Speed & Precision: High-efficiency mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
